Hunter Boots was looking to connect with new consumer segments, targeting a younger, urban shopper connected to the youth culture. FFB Collaboration was hired to be a Cultural Advisor to identify and source talent for turnkey marketing activations in collaboration with premier retailer Extra Butter.
THE APPROACH
To fully immerse Hunter in the world of urban and sneaker culture our creative and commercial teams ‘brought the outside in” by transforming Extra Butter into an urban oasis, in the middle of New York City. The result was a fully-realized concrete jungle that truly captured the essence of the brand and its relevance to urban culture.
SOCIAL SUSTAINABILITY COMPONENT
In line with our commitment to community and culture, we partnered with Harlem Grown, a non-profit organization with a mission to inspire young people to lead healthy and successful lives through mentorship and hands-on education in urban farming, sustainability, and nutrition. As a nod to the concrete jungle theme, we created an opportunity for Hunter to auction off one of their special edition boots to support this worthy cause.
